Mug Madness Rescheduled to October 17th! 〰️

The weather outside is frightful, so we’ve decided to postpone Mug Madness to NEXT Saturday, October 17th.

It will still be at the Fairweather from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be lots of different opportunities for people of all ages to get hands in clay and we expect a beautiful day.

Please share the updated information with your clay buddies or repost from social media to help us get the word out.

Please tell all your friends and come prepared to have fun getting muddy!

Mud

Makers

Our mission is to nurture a community of clay enthusiasts in the greater Prescott area, to provide space and ceramic art education for people at all skill levels, and to provide creative experiences for those in our community who would benefit especially from the healing qualities of clay work. We are committed to working with any individual who wants to work with clay, regardless of their ethnic heritage, chosen faith or gender identity. We believe diversity, equity and inclusion weave the fabric of a healthy community.

Our vision is to create a ceramic arts community studio where people can come to experience the art of clay and grow their skills through classes, workshops, group projects and unstructured studio access.

Our Mission & Vision

  • "Mud Makers is attracting a community of potters at all levels. I love the sharing of aspirations, as well as learning together in solving challenges that clay's many options present.”

    —Deanne Brewster

  • “The Mud Makers are a collective group of professional and novice ceramic artists who share their creative energy, resources and experiences with the community. It is a place where you can express your endless passion for creativity in clay, and learn techniques such as Saggar Fire, Raku, Hand-Building and Wheel Thrown pots in a friendly and affordable environment.”

    —Charina Dimaano

  • “For me, joining Mud Makers has been so beneficial as a hobby potter. Attending local workshops and  potlucks have provided opportunities to connect with other potters, exchange ideas and make new friends.”

    —Julie Ferguson

  • “Mud Makers is a community in the truest sense. We come together with a shared love of the creative process, but the beauty of the organization is the deep kindness and sharing for all its members. As a new potter I was welcomed, workshops were made available, friendships were formed. We are fortunate to have this Prescott organization available to all.”
