Workshops

Mud Makers hosts a number of workshops throughout the year, offering affordable instruction in a particular skill or project. Most workshops are accessible to beginners, but some require some basic experience. Demonstrations are open to anyone and have included production throwing and large vessel throwing. All workshops are taught by local professional ceramic artists with years of experience and have included: Lidded Vessels, Wheel-Throwing, Handle-Making, Wall Pockets, Trimming, Saggar Firing, and Large Vessel Throwing.

Our Workshop Policy

  • Full payment is due at the time of registration.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of registration are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made after the 72-hour period, but at least 2 weeks before the workshop date, are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the workshop date.
