The primary focus of Mud Makers is more than just pottery-

We work to bring a sense of belonging and inclusivity to everyone who interacts with Mud Makers. We began building this community by holding monthly potlucks, and these lively events continue to draw clay enthusiasts of all kinds and skill levels, sharing work, resources, and inspiration over excellent food. After the Mud Makers workshops,  participants share their work at the next potluck. At our holiday potluck, we play a pottery gift exchange game where pieces can change hands many times before the last person eventually gets it. Potlucks are where we have our richest exchanges. Anyone who loves working with clay or is even just clay-curious is welcome to our potlucks. Just bring a dish to share.

We are always looking for folks who can host potlucks, so please let us know if you have a space that can fit at least 15 people.
