MUG MADNESS!

Come join us for our first community ceramics festival!

On Sunday October 11th, from 10-3, we will be at the Fairweather Courtyard on N. Cortez St with events and activities for the whole family, all centered around clay! (Pun intended!)

There is no admission fee!

There will be demonstrations by local artists of wheel-throwing, hand-building and sculpture, plus events and activities like a kids clay area, Throw with a Pro (anyone can have a guided turn on the wheel to feel how fun it is), a pottery sale, food trucks…and…

The Mug Walk!

For a $25 donation, participants will circle up and, while the fabulous Meg Bohrman plays her accordion, beautiful hand-made mugs will be passed around. Whenever the music stops and if you are holding a mug, it’s yours! It’s like a cake walk, but everyone eventually ends up with a mug to take home. Tickets will be available at the Mud Makers booth.

Whatever Mud Makers does in the community, we want it to be fun! Through this festival and future events we are raising funds to create a community ceramics studio in Prescott. Please come enjoy a day of clay with us—your friendly neighborhood mudslingers!
