With an eye on Empty Bowls coming up in early September, Abby Brill is offering a 2-part workshop on Saturday, July 18th, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In the morning, she will demonstrate production throwing, offering tips on how to develop the skills needed to make matching pieces. Handouts will be provided with a list of useful tips and tools.
Then, after a break for lunch, Abby will demonstrate trimming bowls and participants will each be provided with several leather hard bowls to practice trimming on.
Learning how to throw multiple matching pieces not only provides you with beautiful sets of dishes but also develops fluidity and muscle memory!
